How much i hear you ask...well, you can fill a bag FULL of books for a donation in our reception collection tin OR you can donate something we can use here at NAWT - items such as blankets, towels, dogs or cat toys, pet beds, pet food or treats for the cats and dogs in our care. The event will be on every day from Saturday 30th October, 9am - 5pm.

Local artist/writer Wendy Constance will be demonstrating the progression from collecting plastic-based litter on local beaches to producing decorative art with disturbing messages.  Messages about how discarded mass-produced plastic, much of it single-use, harms wildlife, the environment and ultimately humans.  The demonstration is also an introduction to a proposed workshop-based event at the Tower next year including: short presentation about plastic pollution; its effect on marine life; beach-combing; creating a group piece of artwork for the local community.
